One, we take this business seriously. As a team, we have a mission to change the face of wellness by getting essential oils into every home. Selling doTERRA essential oils and products is a real business with huge potential to change people's healthcare and earn money. This means that you have a big job to do.

Two, we are committed to everyone who joins us. We have a training and support program for you AND your customers. You could just jump in and start telling people about oils like other trainings might suggest but we want to maximize your potential with some solid training. We also want to support you in giving your customers a great experience.

Three, we meet you where you're at. Everyone has their own goals and timelines and we want to know what they are. So in a minute, expect me to regularly ask:

"What are YOUR goals?"

Ultimately, you are part of a team. This requires good communication with your coach so that everyone is on the same page. Which brings us to our final point--

On this team, we promise to be HONEST. We are honest with our customers, ourselves, and our team at all times. We believe in clear messages and simple plans.

Our Success Pathway

We pick up where other teams might fail. Rather than making the common mistakes of poor planning, lack of training, and tons of pressure without the pay off, we focus on getting your off on the right track. You want to make money helping others, so here's our starting formula: 

  1. If you are serious, plan for 90 days of training. This means watching brief and specific training videos on the steps for creating success, practicing with your leader and then doing the work. We want you to be successful out of the gate so you are getting paid. The amount of time you commit is up to you.
  2. Schedule appointments (or classes). During your training, you will learn how to schedule and complete wellness appointments and classes. Your first 5 appointments or classes and follow ups will lead to additional referrals and momentum. 
  3. Book a weekly call with your coach for your first 90 days. This is where you will talk about your wins, your learning experiences and practice new skills. These should take 30-40 minutes because you will be tailoring how you run your appointments.
  4. After 90 days, start participating in our team Jam Sessions (or catch the recordings) and our business Facebook page! The calls are brain storming and continuing education sessions held monthly and the Facebook group is a place to ask questions or glean advice. 
  5. Find your team and engage them in our process! We will show you how to do it.

Logistics of what we do:

Your business is meant to be simple. We have designed a simple training program to help you with each of your business steps. Your training will include a simple pathway for customers.

First, ask people to schedule appointments to talk about how they would benefit from essential oils.

Next, meet with them for a focused and simple appointment to review their wellness goals and then make a couple of starter kit recommendations.

Then, once they receive their oils, follow up on how to use their oils, their wholesale account and how place future orders for items on their wishlist. Get them into our Glow Train program to learn more.

When you talk with customers, ask them if they are interested in meeting with other people to talk about essential oils or if they would like to hold an event for you to come teach their friends about doTERRA. Ultimately, happy customers will give you referrals and keep your business thriving and profitable. So be sure to ask who they know that needs to talk with you.

You can also teach classes, do vendor events, work with local businesses or groups, or whatever interests you the most. We have lots of resources.

In order to fulfill your mission of changing the face of healthcare, you will want to create your own army of leaders. You can't do it alone, so find your people and lead them through their training and team building.

FAQ:

How many hours a week will I need to work? Ultimately, this is your own business so you set your own hours. If you want to make a little money to pay for your oils, you will be need to meet with 1-2 people each week. Or do about a class a month. Appointments last 40 minutes, plus prep time and entering the order. The people who want to earn supplemental income, or replace their income, generally work about 10 hours per week because they are spending more time making connections for future appointments or classes. If you are organized and disciplined with your time, it may be less. As business expands and you lead a team, you may find yourself working 15 hours per week. 

What are my monthly costs? You will need to place a 100 pv Loyalty Rewards Order monthly to be paid. If you don't, you won't receive a paycheck for the month. The order can be anything you choose and your requirements do not change over time like other companies. You get a free website from doTERRA and can print all your materials from home. Many choose to purchase a $25 Class in a Box from their account if they don't want to print at home. We don't recommend expensive materials or supplies. Just you, some oils, paper and pens, and the enrollment form.
